Gender Equality Plan

The aim of introducing the Gender Equality Plan at the Institute of  Energy and Fuel Processing Technology is to ensure that the Institute is a safe institution for the entire community, operating with respect for the principles of equality and diversity, free from discrimination, thus enabling everyone to develop scientifically and personally without obstacles.

Under the Order of the Director of the Institute, as of April 1, 2022, the ITPE has had a Gender Equality Representative, whose goal is to ensure that the universal right of every person to equality and protection against discrimination is respected.

The Representative is responsible for, among others:

  • Promoting, disseminating and promoting activities for equal treatment and equal opportunities for the entire institute community and counteracting discrimination;
  • Taking steps to investigate complaints regarding violations of the principles of equal treatment and discrimination, as well as mobbing;
  • Development and implementation of a monitoring system for the Gender Equality Plan;
  • Supporting employees in resolving conflicts and ensuring that members of the institute community are treated fairly and honestly.

The duties of the Gender Equality Representative at the Institute of  Energy and Fuel Processing Technology are performed by Dr. Hab. Eng. Janusz Lasek

Reports regarding discrimination or mobbing are accepted in person, by e-mail or by phone.
