HESS Project monitoring meeting

On 19.03.2025, a meeting was held to monitor the progress of the project entitled “Hybrid energy storage system using post-mining infrastructure” (acronym HESS, contract number 10111280). The meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute of Fuel and Energy Technology: Agata Czardybon, the Silesian University of Technology: Marcin Lutyński, Konrad Kołodziej and the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology: Daniel Kowol and Piotr Matusiak, as well as project consultant Francesco Palazzo and the Vice-Chairwoman of the Technical Group for Coal RFCS.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the HESS project work carried out in 2023-2024. During the meeting, the scope of work and results obtained within the HESS project were presented. Questions from reviewers regarding the details of the periodic report on the work performed were answered.
