HESS PROJECT MEETING – PRESENTATION OF WP.5. RESULTS

On June 12, 2024, a meeting was held at ITPE as part of the project entitled “Hybrid energy storage system using post-mining infrastructure” (HESS). It was attended by representatives of the Silesian University of Technology, the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Premogovnik Velenje d.o.o. from Slovenia and the Institute of Energy and Fuel Processing Technology.

The main goal of the meeting was to present the current status of work within WP.5. Heat storage in post-mining infrastructure implemented by SUT and ITPE. The result of the work is report
